Airports

We recommend flying into the larger three airports: San Francisco (SFO), Oakland (OAK), or Sacramento (SMF).  These airports will offer the best selection of dates, times, rates, and amenities (e.g., rental cars).

Intrastate Transportation

Amtrak - NOT Recommended

Although the Amtrak California Coast Starlight travels through Chico, CA, the rail system often experiences long delays of 4+ hours.  The train also arrives & departs from Chico, CA sometime between 3:00 AM-7:00 AM depending on delays.

If you have time to burn and don't mind a variable time schedule, traveling via train is an experience not to be missed.  The comfortable seating with large picture windows allows you to see the beautiful California scenery in a relaxed setting.  

If you're interested in having freedom of travel and choosing when and where you'd like to go, we strongly recommend traveling the vast highway system via a rental car, van, or truck.

Rental Cars

We recommend getting a rental vehicle at the airport of your arrival.  Airports SFO, OAK, and SMF will offer the best selection of dates, cars, and rates.

Transport intrastatal

Amtrak – NU Recomandăm

Chiar dacă Amtrak California Coast Starlight trece prin Chico, CA, societatea feroviară deseori are mari întârzieri chiar până la 4 ore.  Trenul sosește în și pleacă din  Chico, CA cândva  între  3:00 AM-7:00 AM în funcție de întârzieri.

Dacă aveți timp și nu vă deranjează întârzielile, călătoria cu trenul este o experiență care nu trebuie pierdută.  Fotoliile confortabile și geamurile mari vă permit să vedeți frumoasa Californie intr-un mod deosebit de relaxant.

Dacă sunteți interesați de libertatea de a allege când și unde  vreți să mergeți noi vă recomandăm călduros mașina de închiriat și sistemul de autostrăzi.

Noi vă recomandăm să închiriați mașina la aeroportul unde aterizați. Aeropoartele SFO, OAK și SMF vă vor oferi cele mai bune oferte de date , mașini și prețuri.
